My priorities:
- Establish a district playground in Gilpin Park
- Save the park at Hopetoun Avenue, Brunswick West
- Create a new public park at the Edward Street car park
- Enforce laws to keep pedestrians, children, the elderly and people pushing prams safe on footpaths, especially in shopping areas
- Greater transparency over how developer Open Space levies are spent and a fairer share for Brunswick
- Upgrade the drainage, irrigation and lighting at AG Gillion oval
- Protect the Upfield bike path from VicTrack over-development
- Support community urban greening efforts through planting in under-utilised public open space such as nature strips and rail reserves and a comprehensive Urban Forest Strategy
- Simplify the Community Grants Program to make it easier for community groups to bring life to their communities
- Enforce local laws and ensure strict building permit conditions to protect residents from construction noise
- Strengthen laws, enforcement and education requiring dog owners to clean up after their animals in pubic places
- Easier booking of Council facilities for fundraisers, social events and community events
- Additional bike parking that allows lock-up of bike trailers
- More safe crossing points for pedestrians and cyclists
- Better support for the toy library
