Would you please be able to let me know your position on the Decriminalisation of Sex Work in Victoria and an MSIR located in Moreland?

On decriminalization of sex work, I await the outcomes of a new review, lead by Fiona Patten MP. There is not much information on this page so far, but interested parties are encouraged to submit to the review.

Many of you would have seen the recent review on the Medically Supervised Injecting Room project in Richmond. Our MP, Tim Read has spoken in favour of such services in the past.

Should a MSIR be proposed in Moreland, then I would trust that the State Government would locate it in an area of most need, and that the Council would properly consult with the community about any potential concerns.
