Local government delivers some of the most important day-to-day government services. You notice these things when you step outside your front door or walk down to your local high street. I call on you to set and insist on, high standards of delivery of these services.
If your concerns are those of the Victorian and Commonwealth governments, then you will get a chance to have your say soon, with elections due in 2026 and 2025, respectively.
The next term of council will overlap likely changes in government at one, maybe both, of these levels. In Brunswick, we have to think ahead to what those changes will mean for us.
