The pandemic has impacted us all in ways we can’t imagine. We’ve been protected too, from what is soon to come. My #1 priority for the next term of Council is responding to these realities.

- Rate and fee relief
- Fast track business permits
- Support for local businesses in developing their COVID-safe plans
- Marketing support to safely bring customers back to key precincts
- Supporting the service industries
- Tailored, ongoing support for women workers and small business owners, who have been disproportionately affected
- Ensuring State Government programs are easily available to Moreland businesses
A COVID recovery plan for the community
- No rate or fee rises
- Support services for the unemployed, underemployed and those that have dropped out of the workforce via libraries, community houses and community groups
- Family daycare, childcare and out of school programs helping parents get back to work and supporting children’s social and emotional development coming out of lockdown
- Support for community groups to resume face-to-face activities safely to support social inclusion
